• Poipu Beach Broiler: (742-6433) -American You can walk from Bird of Paradise home to this restaurant.  Good steak and seafood.
  
• The Beach House Restaurant: (808-742-1424) - American food Steak and Seafood with great Ocean views.  Need reservation in advance. 
  
• Roy's: (808-742-5000) - Pacific Rim at Poipu Shopping Village. Well know throughout the island and claim to be one of the best restaurant you must try.  Elegant atmosphere but a bit busy.

• Koloa Fish Market: (808-742-6799) - Local  ($6-7) Take out only. Located in Old Koloa Town across from the Post Office.  Simple plates lunch like Lau lau, Kalua (pig), etc.
  
• Brennecke's Beach Broiler: (808-742-7588) - American ($20-$35) Awesome view over look at Poipu Beach Park. Serving can be slow...
• Keoki's Paradise: (808-742-7534) - American ($20-$35) Keoki's Paradise in Poipu Village Shopping Village. Enjoy local live entertainment in the lounge Thursday and Friday evening, and Sunday afternoon.
  
• Lappert's Ice Cream: (808-742-1272 ) - Old Koloa Town. Super-premium ice-creams, Hawaiian coffees and delicious homemade pastries. 
  
• Pattaya Asian Cafe - Thai ($10-$25) Thai  Poipu Shopping Village. A Thai restaurant with excellent and imaginative curries, spicy or mild, salads; Thai iced tea, and a variety of other Eastern-inspired dishes is very good.
  
• TomKats Grill (808 742-8887) - American Old Koloa Town. large selection of Burgers, plate lunch ($8-$15) and ($18-$30) for dinner.
  
• Pizzetta (808 742-8881) - Italian ( $10-$15) Old Koloa Town. Free delivery in Po'ipu.  Mostly pizza and pasta for lunch and dinner.
