Poipu Kauai has one of the best climates in Hawaii. The temperatures are almost always between mid seventies to low eighties. Occasionally when the trade winds stop the temperature can rise to high eighties and once or twice in winter weather fronts from the North can come and lower the temperature to high sixties at night.
There are basically two seasons: the summer months from May to October and the winter months from November to April. Summer average daytime temperature is about 84°F or 29°C and winter average daytime temperature is about 78°F or 26°C. At night it is usually about 10°F lower.
